This young Anna's Hummingbird almost immediately took to bathing in
the 'bubble' of water at the tip of the fountain. It indulges in long bouts
of sitting right on the bubbling water or beside it. Several other Anna's
have taken up this habitat, and they seem to 'wait' each day for the fountain
to be turned on. In the sequences below, note how it gets right into the
water and sits atop the globe. |
