• I began digiscoping with the Olympus Camedia 560 received on Christmas 2003. Techniques, early results, and links to other web sites are all included on a "Preliminary Thoughts about Digiscoping" page, posted in January 2004. It also compared two basic types of digiscoping: (1) hand-holding the camera to the scope [my technique] or (2) physically attaching the camera to the scope through an adapter [used by many others].

• A two-page project focusing on ageing common shorebirds in fall migration in Monterey County uses digiscoping as the photographic medium
• An introduction to Monterey grebes relies heavily (but not entirely) on digiscoped images
